I hope you don't think this is a stupid question, but i'm trying to copy and paste
more than one track at a time, but i can't figure it out. I select the regions i want, copy, and then paste, but only one track will paste. I'm sure someone knows how to do this. thanks.

Would it help if you just duplicated the tracks rather than try cut-and-paste? I use that command all the time with great success. I believe it will also allow more than one track to be duplicated at a time.

Try and add the tracks that you would like to copy and paste at the same time to a group, and make sure to add edit in the group options

Hope this helps

you must make sure you have all (and enough) tracks selected when you paste or it will try to paste only in one track... so make sure you have selected enough tracks to handle all the copied tracks before pasting... you can click and use shift I think to select more than one track cool.gif

If you copy (n) region at the same time you must make sure you have (n) blink headline before pasting.....maybe the same for (n) track! smile.gif

If you're trying to copy ALL the tracks (like when you want to duplicate a chorus or verse section) you can use the "All" group command. Just click on "All" in the groups window in the lower left of the edit window.

BradG's got it. Also, make sure you're in "Shuffle" mode. This will move everything else out of the way of your destination. This way you won't erase anything else. To be in Shuffle mode, select F1 while in Edit window.

Remember, you can also create groups. This is great for when you only wanna copy and paste from a group of tracks while excluding others.
