Works fine for me; just make sure to get latest driver from their web site.
I have more issues w/ Cubase than I do with the Tascam, although I haven't upgraded to 2.0 yet.
The US 428 has proven to be a real work horse in my studio and their latest driver are very nice with Panther.

There is an issue between Cubase and Panther.
Cubase SL2 doesn not yet have a driver for Panther although one is promised.
So, to be clear, my Panther OS does not work propery with Cubase SL2 but the Tascam is sound.
