Make sure that Reason is seeing which MIDI input you want to use. Go to preferences, and there should be a midi tab there.

Does the audiophile appear within Reason's preferences?
I have 2 interfaces for midi. The oxygen 8 (appreas as 1x1 port) and the Audiophile USB (which appears as audiophile USB). Could there be a conflict with what you used before?

I'm having problems in Reason OSX with Maudio/MOTU midi i/o's as well... very similarly... I have not been able to get my MOTU or Maudio Midi i/o's to be usable consistently with reason in OS X... all the hardware/cabling is fine because it all works in OS 9, but not in OSX. if you want to see my full problem description: follow this link My Post in Softsynths MacMusic.org Forum
