Hi there,
Weird quesion for me, you folks probably know the answer.
Just recieved ProTools with the ToolBox hardware and I put a little six track, three and a half minute piece together as a test. When I did the 'bounce to disk' function it took real-time to complete the task. Is this normal?
I am normally going to be doing 30+ minute voice-overs and interviews, will I have to wait for the program each time or an I missing some simple option?
Thanks in advance! Peter

Yes bounce to disk is in real time...
If you just want to export a mono or stereo track in another format you can :
1-'consolidate selection' to make files from your track (if it's not already a single file) 2-'export selected as files'
If you have to mix multiple tracks...then it's real time
