Hello,

I know here is not the exact place for my question but was unable to find better place with activity.

I got old PowerMac 7600. Unfortunately after loading the OS it asks for password and I don't know it. Is there some default guest account in MacOS or method to skip the pass? Even if necessary to mount the HDD to other pc and remove some file?

Please help!

thanks in advance
Teodor

If you don't know the password in OS9 you will need to re-format the drive and start over :{ ...

Now in OS X a a password can be reset.
