Does anyone have any specifics on the new bundle offer from Protools (Reason, Live, AmpliTube, Sampletank and T-racks included with all protools systems). The versions of the programs offered aren't full versions right? It says on the digidesign page "Discounted upgrade options to respective full versions are available for many of these five components." but it doesn't say anything about how much the discount is or basically give any specifics about the offer at all.

I have just bought an MBox which came with the bundle. You get license keys with each of the software. The following upgrades apply:
50% discount on Ableton Live ull version
Amplitube $/€ 299 they reckon you save 30% with these upgrades
Sampletrax $€ 349 they reckon you save 30% with these upgrades
T-racks $€ 299 they reckon you save 30% with these upgrades
Reason - there is no discount upgrade you have to go full price to the full version.

Whilst I am new to all of this the Reason package comes fairly well specked if you are a novice so you wouldn't feel the need for an immediate upgrade. In time perhaps, but from the face of it it looks like there is enough to get going with.

If you are not a beginner then you might want more straight away. However the bundle is free with PT so is good in that respect.

i just got my mbox, which came with the bundle, and i can't believe how much
stuff you get. amplitube is very extensive and has great sounds. reason is awesome, and includes a synthesizer, sequencer, mixer, and drum machine, which you can create drum tracks on and then export them to pro tools for editing. i haven't even installed ableton live yet, and i don't even know what it's all about. however, I am definately glad i made the purchase. hope this helps.
