Hello!
i am having problems getting absynth to play any sound via midi. I have a midisport 1x1 with an akai s2000 and a small midi keyboard. the midi works okay with logic audio platinum 4.7 and the s2000, and absynth can see the midi signals, as the red light is coming on, but I just cant get any sound. I am also having problems setting absynth up with logic. According to the manual, OMS should allow absynth to be controlled from there with the midi keyboard, but it doesn't seem to be happening. I'm wondering if this problem is to do with OMS, but I know very lttle about it.
All advice welcome!

Hi, I assume that if you use the little keyboard window that comes with Absynth that you can get a sound? If yes, maybe you need to use the IAC bus that comes with OMS. This only gets installed if you do a custom install of OMS and is required to route midi from one application to another.

Your problem could be the following:

- make sure you are using OMS 2.3.8
- grab the latest driver for the midisport for http://www.midiman.net

I am using Absynth and and a midi keyboard without any problems, so it is possible. You just need the right combination of software.

Sounds like an audio problem to me. If every thing shows it's working, then it is. Check all of your audio stuff and make shure everything is working.
