I'm experiencing popping at the end of regions. After using other Pro Tools systems I'm aware this shouldn't happen. What have I missed out in the setup of my system.
I'm using a O2R going to a ADAT bridge then G4 450 into Pro Tools 5.1 then out through a ATTO Dual SCSI port into a Seagate Cheetha drive.
The popping occurs when cutting up regions.
If you can help with any suggestions I would be thankful.

Nick

i recommend lloking at your regions at very close view by zooming lots and then experiment with the cuts a little using undo... you may just be cutting right in midst of a rising amplified noise and being cutoff just creates the pop... also...try leaving a beat or two extra when cutting your regions at beginning and end (might have to select area and copy and paste) then use a fade on the beginning and end of the region to keep it smooth unless you have the regions butted up against each other then maybe experiment with fades between the two regions so they flow together naturally. Nice thing about fades is that they are just audio regions and don' t tax your cpu like using volume automation would or plugins.
