Somebody please help me!! I have a Edirol UM 1s usb midi interface. A G4 running cubase sx and a midi keyboard. I have downloaded the latest driver for the um1s.
When i try and play my vst instruments via my keyboard i get no sound and what would appear to be no connection to the vst instrument atall. What makes this strange is that i am getting a midi signal in cubase when i hit the keys on my midi keyboard. I have set the input to the midi interface and output set to the vst instrument in the inspector window on cubase. Oh and MIDI thru is on. Am i doing something wrong? hope this is enough information.

Please be gentle with me for I am only a beginner. blink.gif

Cubase - preferences - midi filter - note off

something teels me it's gonna be a while before i finish my first tune. Took me 2 days to get any sound out of my keyboard.
