please share any knowledge of any online pro-audio shops, and any experience, good or bad...
shops like: musician's friend, sweetwater, audio-midi, performance, etc.
maybe we will know who is the best.
please include US / Europe shops as well as international shops.

Check these out: http://www.musicstorekoeln.de/englisch/index.htm, http://www.netzmarkt.de/thomann. I've purchased several items from both. Prices and delivery times are O.K. and they've got nice customer support. I've also bought from these guys: www.touched-by-sound.com. I'm still waiting for the goods. Hope this helps.

I always use zzounds.com. No tax if your outside of NJ, and free shipping if you order over $100 or so. And I always do!

I've ordered from most of the online retailers and found that it depends on what you're ordering. I ordered a Guitar from zzsounds.com because they have free shipping and also had a package for guitar and case, most other online retailers add the case separately and because of it's weight charge anywhere from $6 to 12 for shipping. I ordered a Studio Projects C1 from Music123.com because they carry it and the free shipping, but 123 can be very slow getting orders out. It's taken 3 days after credit card approval to get my microphone shipped which seems pretty long. I ordered some odd cables from Musicians Friend and they were great and fast with free shipping with orders over $299.

Just look online and see if one retailer has every thing you're looking for and order it from them in one shipment.
