What a great surprise! M was definitely a gas...on my Mac IIvx. Can't wait to see how much they've spruced it up; an arpeggiator function would be sweet...I'll get it anyway, even if all it does is what it used to do. By all means check it out, if you're new to it.
Thanks, Cycling! (Oh, and Pluggo for X will be OK, too, I guess...;-))

A slight correction - M was originally developed by Intelligent Music and licensed to Dr T's when Intelligent Music closed. (I know, because I worked at IM and wrote the M manual.) David Zicarelli, who runs Cycling 74, was the original main programmer for M, which is why M is back with him now.

At any rate, it's good news to hear that M has been ported to OSX, and I encourage all electronic musicians interested in unusual MIDI software to check it out.

Thanks; I'd forgotten about the Intelligent Music connection! Yes, M has a long, storied history. Thanks for setting us straight. It's really great to see this software on OS X. I'm looking forward to playing with it again; I also haven't really worked with it since Mac II days.

Peter
