Hello there!!
I was just wondering if there is anyone out there succesfully running Logic (I have a quiet old version, Platinum 4.8) using the MOTU 828 MKII as a MIDI and audio interface.I have tried very hard to make them work together but Logic does not seem to "see" the interface. The Motu works perfectly well with Audio Desk so I am pretty sure I must be missing something out configuring Logic. If somebody could please tell me the process (ASIO drivers, Hardware set up in Logic) step by step I would be really thankful!!

Thanks!!!

first - make sure you've got a copy of the ASIO drivers in the asio drivers folder. then open logic. in the audio fropdown menu, select audio hardware and drivers. select "asio"from the list. select the motu from the little "click and hold" menu in the middle. enable "universal trackmode", if it isn't already. if you get asked whether you want to "relaunch", say yes.

the only other thing to do, is make sure you have the three motu extensions enabled - the control panel, enabler and driver.

hope that helps!
