I was working on a project this week and somehow at the same exact point in the arrangement I loose all audio (and all sound from midi tracks) there is no signal on any chanel beyond a certain point. I have no idea what is causing this. The weird thing is it does it on back up and earlier arrangements too... any suggestion to what this could be?
It's a really important track so it's stessing me out quite a lot, any help would be greatly apreciated
I was on here a while ago because my Logic 6 just stopped working (It just would not boot) I got a lot of advice from some very clever people on here but in the end nothing worked.. and I did try everything! So in the End I have bought a copy of Logic 8, now my question is this.. Is it advisable for me to back up my hardrive and erase and install osx before I do? I have had my g4 power mac laptop for a few years and it's not as fast as it used to be, will this help the situation? Lastly I read that if i erase and install there is a chance my computer won't be able to read my oxford 911 external, some fault within osx tiger, is this true?
Good afternoon all, I am having some trouble opening logic (6.4.1) on my G4 POWERBOOK. When I try to open logic I get the "Logic quit unexpectedly" Error msg and logic quits before it even opens. I have recently installed Rob Pappins "Blue" AU. Would this be the issue?
I remember I had the same problem when upgraded from panther to tiger but resolved this by doing an archive install.
I am running a 1.25 Ghz G4 power book with 1.25 gig of ram. I am running Logic 6.4.1 and I constantly get the "disc too slow" error message if I use more than 5 tracks of audio and an audio instrument. I have tried buying more ram, freeing up space on my hard drive, freezing files, changing buffer size.. everythng! From what I can gather from other fourums it's a pretty common problem and it does not seem to be a hardware problem it seems to be a data transfer problem with Logic. My question is what can I do about it ???? Is it possible to upgrade my Logic 6.4.1 to a more later version of 6 (i dont want to buy logic 7) and will this even help matters?
Hello ! i recently installed logic 6.4.1 on my G4 power book, im running osx 10.3.7 and my problem is this... i cant get any sound from my midi instruments or when i use reason through rewire, do i need an external sound card or can i use my built in audio, how should it be configured ? Also it will only let me import wav files into the audio window, when i try to import aiff a window pops up saying "insufficient access privileges for operation, result code -5000" what does this mean ? Please help me before i go insane.
