Hi -

I'm looking for some sort of freeware (or shareware, I guess, if there's a demo and it's really good) to generate sound effects such as laser sweeps, jet plane fly-bys, wind, etc...

Any leads appreciated!

thx
Andrew

Why would you need logic? I assume any program that will accept AU plugs would do. For example, I use Merto 6.2 to trigger Crystal. There is also a VST(i) version of Crystal as well.

Hi again -

I guess I don't know for sure if I do; I guess I don't!

Just that it said Logic was required on the page you linked to.

In fact, I'm wondering if there's a way to use it with GarageBand.. I see a VST folder on my drive. I just got a MIDI to USB cable this morning, so I'll be experimenting...

thx
