I just moved from Cubase/PC to Logic/Mac. I love my new iBook, BTW....

Anyway, I'm trying to put my songs back together in Logic, and the one thing that I seem to be missing is a MIDI gate plugin. I installed the DestroyFX MIDI Gater, but can't seem to route a MIDI track to it.

Any suggestions? Thanks!

So I assume that by "MIDI gate" you're looking to filter out notes by velocity?

What version of Logic are you using? My simple answer is "read up on the Environment." The bottom line is that if you learn a bit about how to use the Logic environment, you're never going to lack any MIDI "plug-ins". The Environment rocks...but it can be confusing, until you learn it.

If you respond with more info I can try to write explicit directions.
