midipiano_chung is a standalone midi acoustic piano synthesizer which plays piano samples based sounds as midi data income in the first midi input port (if any) of your computer. easily customizable by modifying the sound files in the ./sounds/ folder.The program is written in freebasic and uses fbsound with 128 notes polyphony / 15 channels.

(21/06/2012) midiout(thru) port selection added [M], transmit the midi input to the output thru midi port to connect to a recorder while playing usb piano keyboard for example.
(beware:don't create midiout/in loop feedback, a message will be sent if it is detected)

note:you can create several copies in differents folders and rename midipiano_chung.exe main program to run multiple versions. rolleyes.gif

(21/06/2012) buffers resized, low latency : fbsound buffers set to 12*(100...2048 samples) instead of 3*(442...2048 samples)

i have added a midi recorder / player with autostart,autostop after 14sec blanks, save, load as .midirec files (compatible with midirec_chung for editing and exporting to midifiles).

(21/06/2014) autochord, themeonly, learn (chords) functions added to recorder/player of midipiano_chung (standalone version)
with this you can listen to a song with the chords of an other or saved/loaded or create chord data with the learn function (play to chord). works with the midi input too (ex: usb midi keyboard).
