can i play mp3 music in fedora7(linux), and if yes, how?

Nobody ever answered this? Sheesh! Well, there are a variety of programs (or whatever they're called in Linux) you can use, including the currently most well-known, XMMS. It's kind of a Linux version of that famous Windows app, Winamp. Get XMMS to play most any music or audio on your Fedora system.

Well so far, Im satisfied with Rhythmbox Music Player in my PC. Didn't yet try to install Fedora 7. (I've tried Amarok before)

Rythmbox is buggy, and can't use par of the available and installed codecs (for example, the net radio streams in MP3).

It works perfect in VLC…

I can only play stream files in ubuntu but mp3 files are not supported. how can i play or download the plugins for this type of music files and dvd moive files.
