Hello all,
I am brand new so bare with me. Below is the set up I went with for mobile/Stealth live recording of favorite bands. What I am looking for is software ( Audacity is currently all I can find, SparkME is gone... ) that will allow me to extract the live music off the minidisc run it through the M Audio Transit> into my Powerbook ( Ti 867mhz w/1 gig ) for import into iTunes ( mp3 or Apple's AAC format ) to burn onto a disc.
I have multiple pre amps so post mix/ levels and such would be a nice option although I do not know who much of that I will NEED to do. IF the recording sounds good I will not be doing a lot of tinkering.

Sharp IM-DR420 Portable NetMD recorder.
TRANSIT M-Audio Transit USB audio interface1
BOOSTBOX Reactive Sounds Boostbox preamp
AT822 Audio Technica 822 Stereo Microphone1

Any help or advice is greatly appreciated.
