Hello. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on how I can use 2 iSubs at the same time, so I can make my room a lonely club!

I am currently using a newer Soundsticks set, but I have an older iSub just laying around, that I bought years before. The computer cuts off the lower frequencies for the sound output, sending it to the iSub. Connecting the other iSub makes it have little output, because the bass is sent to the first connected iSub...

Any help on this is appreciated.

Yesterday I spent awhile trying to figure out why Logic Platinum 4.8 wouldn't output any sound when playing files, when it usually would. There was sound when playing aiff files indiviually but not when playing the whole track.

The only thing different in my setup from last week, when it worked, was that I had installed 1GB more RAM on my Dual 1.25 G4. So I took out the RAM, and I GOT MY SOUND BACK! The max RAM that I have in my computer now is 1GB; 1.5GB does not allow the sound from the whole piece to play for some reason...

Does anyone know of a workaround to this? I don't think the newer Logic versions have a problem- I have Logic Express 6 but haven't used it with my more-RAM-setup.

Any insight on the matter is appreciated.

I'm still using Logic 4.8.1 on my nearly three year old computer, and I am wanting to buy a new computer as well as a new version of Logic.

I was wondering if the project files for 4.8 are compatible with the newer versions of Logic. I understand that there is a VST to AU converter but am mostly concerned with the song files, as I have hundreds.

Any information on the subject is appreciated.

Hello. I am currently using Logic Platinum 4.8.1 (I don't know when I'll upgrade, because I have hundreds of projects; newer versions don't support my old vst plugins, etc.). I don't know how Logic controls the hard disk or ram buffer for audio, but I was wondering if anyone has had success with hacking it to increase either (with ResEdit, etc.). For example, I imagine a certain amount of data is buffered into RAM, and I was wonndering if this valeu could be changed-- I have a lot of RAM, slow hard disk. Or does this have to do only with the hard disk buffer size and not the software? Any insight/info would be appreciated.
