Hi everybody,

my Radium 61 keyboard is not recognized anymore in AMS. The only thing that's there is a driver called "IAC Driver". I reinstalled the Radium's driver many time, unplugged and replugged the keyboard, and I even resinstalled Panther, but nothing seems to work!

What's strange is that the keyboard is technically working when plugged to the USB port (digital display is working and changes when I move the sliders and knobs). I tried to reset the keyboard's firmware but nothing changed at all.

Does somebody have an idea on what to do to get my keyboard working again ?

Thx,
Hellgi

I have had some similar problems.

I couldn't get my radium 49 to show up in Panther's AMS at all... and now I'm having random, odd problems with my other USB midi i/o's like my 2 MOTU fastlanes and my M-audio Quattro...

OS 10.3.2 on Pismo Laptop G3 400mhz.... none of the items stay in the AMS setup very long... I can get them setup and they seem to be there, plug in some keyboards, and see midi lights on the devices... but they don't work in Reason at all... then when I go back to AMS, all the devices, or some of them, disappear.

I think it's 10.3 more than anything... I can't narrow it down.

the problem persists, even when I go directly from USB device to laptop... or in a powered hub... or active repeater USB cable... I'm just confused... but when I take the hub with all my USB midi i/o's on it and plug it into my G4 tower running 10.2.8 it all shows up fine and is stable.... except my Emagic MT|4... but that's another story.

So, anyone out there got any ideas for two guys with OS X midi woes?

Make your tests unplugging ALL other USB devices (except mouse and KB of course). Try Rescan MIDI in AMS.
Also unplug your midi interface USB cable, wait a few second, plug it again, wait a few second, then launch AMS, and rescan.

USB usually su**s sad.gif
