440 Forums _ Mac Intel _ What Is The Mac I Need?

Hi.
I ´m going to buy a new computer but i want to be sure that all works fine.

I have a Digi002, external midi controller FCB1010, USB Keyboard, and i like to work with Ableton Live or if someone know another software better to work with loops recorded directlu, real and virtual instruments.

What Mac you recommend me?
And what Ableton Live pack is better for me? (I´m not interested in samples or sets, I only need some virtual instruments)
I need also a Drumms virtual instrument to work with, and any Piano and orchestral instrument.

the digi 002 is a firewire interface, and firewire is gone from the new macs. you'll need something that is relatively new but still will work with your interface.
software-wise, my tools of choice are Digital Performer and NI Komplete Ultimate 10. good work is possible with almost anything, however.
