Wow, you saved a little for an EZ8 I hope (or bought the package)? I heard (aherms!) that they have someone working on drivers!

errrr...forgot the ez-8 for a perfectly innocent reason....the, umm, 'bookiness' of my ibook.

But I'm thrilled to hear there, ahem, will be pci mac drivers for event's card. One (or two, hehehe) thing(s) at a time. The gear path is a long, slow, expensive trudge.

Ok, I have a few questions.

*Could I run Logic 5.5 on 10.1.5? how does it work when you download an update? do you delete the old one? do you have to set up all of your configurations again? Do you get an entirely new set of music trials? ( for example, since I haven't activated my exs24 trial, if I downloaded 5.5 would I be able to use the exs24 AND the new exs24? )

I'm on the other coast away from my machine so I haven't downloaded the update.

When I upgraded to 5.3 the XSKey showed which demos had expired. Because the ESX24II is a new instrument I expect a new demo period.

How that affects an unused demo I don't know, but the new ESX version will only be availabe in 5.5.

I have the Big Box bundle, after dowloading the update I placed it in the Logic folder with the 5.1 version. I used both until I was sure that 5.3 wasn`t buggy.

Check the emagic site for system requirements. But be aware that only 10.2 and later contain the complete core audio/midi components.

Does anyone know about support for EXSP under the new OS X version of Logic Audio?

Thanks
