I am trying to convert MIDI to WAV on a mac and i don't know what programs to use. I tried JackPilot to link itunes and amadausII but i cant get itunes to show up in the input section. Is there an easier way?

MIDi should be played on a synth like the Quicktime synth in order to have audio to send with Jack elsewhere…
A MIDI file is juste a description of events (like time, notes, duration…), not an Audio file
Drag and drop the midi file into Garage Band, select instruments for the parts, export to iTunes.
Midi= digital data that describes a musical performance.
The easiest way is to use a special utility. Try http://nav.440network.com/out.php?mmsc=forums&url=http://www.maniactools.com/soft/midi-to-mp3-converter/index.shtml, it converts into wav as well. It's really easy to use, allows to tune up tempo, reverb, chorus.
I'd recommend the program NI Bandstand. It's not very recent anymore, but once you get the hang of it, works great.

my two cents is to use Garageband. you've got a host of choices after dragging the midi file into the track window, including changing tempo, key, or instruments. and it's free. no brainer.
