hey everyone, i own pro tools LE with the digi 001, and i am just curious what MAS means, is it audio suite? Thanks in advance for any helps

MAS is MOTU Audio System. MOTU is Mark of the Unicorn, the company that makes, among other things, Digital Performer (www.motu.com).
MAS plugins work only with MOTU software. VST plugins are for VST applications, but there are a couple of MAS plugins that act as a 'converter' for many VST plugs, expanding the possibilities for Digital Performer. RTAS only works with Pro Tools. You can run Digital Performer through your Digi001 (with some concessions in the MIDI area). |
