hello, thanks for checking this.
i just bought an oxygen 8 to use in logic and reason and it works fine except every time i want to control a different soft synth or parameter in logic i have to re-ssign the midi controller numbers to the 8 knobs. this doesn't take very long but it would be really handy if there is a way that the oxygen 8 can store different configurations or if it is possible to store these configurations on my powerbook and then send them accross via sysex or something, i'm not terribly knowledgeable about sysex so i may have this wrong, heh.
i have been trying to read up on the oxy 8 on the net and see if it is possible to store more than the last configuration on the keyboard. there is no mention of this in the manual, midiman haven't responded to my email either. i have seen conflicting views as to whether the oxy 8 can store configurations.
if anyone has managed to do this successfully or if anyone knows of a way that the different configurations could be stored on the powerbook then sent across to the oxy 8 it would be really handy and make working with it a lot more pleasurable!
any help is much appreciated,
thankyou,
