Thank you webmaster. I hope I can do a better mix on it, then I will like it too biggrin.gif

Waddayamean lep...?

Is new speakers like a new motorcycle...? Do I have to ride them in...? Well, I plan to have these monotors for a long time.
I can't decribe the feeling of being on headset for two long years and then be able to hear it all out loud...moving in the room...hearing from different angles...It is marvelous!!! biggrin.gif

Yeah...I sort of lost my confidence about mixing, but a producer-friend of mine said that I was quite good at it since I only had a headset. Now my confidence is back...well it is getting better smile.gif I think that I will do better mixes now since I finally got a pair of good monitors.
I got a very good deal on them since I am one of just 5-6 woman here in Norway with computermusic-skills. I have a long way in front of me to call myself a producer, but I am working on it.

I have to say....the prices here up north would make you faint. It is sooooo expensive. Everything, not just music equipment sad.gif
My good deal was that I got them for $1.942,00/EUR 1.670,50
The original price was $ 2.462.00/EUR 2.118.10

I am moving to Sweden in two weeks. It is cheaper there

Add9 you can call me LPM wink.gif laugh.gif

Beware of Sweden, they have strange guys making red synths, and equally strange guys making silver synths. There's even people making cool software… rolleyes.gif Not that a bad place to move wink.gif

This said you HAD a deal yes! biggrin.gif

The burn in period I'm talking about is that for some monitors like these, they need a little time (give it one or two weeks of full use) to break in the drivers. Then they are on top and just be there and sound beautyful laugh.gif

In clear, they will be better and better in the next days.

Thanks, LPM wink.gif

I will pack them down tomorrow and when I am in my flat in Sweden then I will listen carfully to hear if the sound changes during the first weeks.

I am also thinking of studying jazz at the university. I think my voice would fit fine with jazz...and I do want to learn more about jazzharmonies, not just add9's laugh.gif
