Hi,

Is anyone using their Roland CDrom sample collection from the S760 hardware sampler in any software sampling programs? What do you like? What do you use to translate the samples best?

I've been using the Logic's EXS24mkII and Chicken System Special Edition EXS translator. Not totally sold on it for using the Roland sounds like I'm used to.

What do you like?

Thanks, bach12

Hi all...I've been using Chicken Translators EXS24 Special Editon sample translator, and it hangs up when translating certain Roland disks. The disks are in great shape, and work fine in the good old Roland KS760 just fine.

Anybody doing the same thing? any hints, tips? do you like the OS9 version better than using OSX for translating? anything better and more consistent?

Thanks.....Cam Millar
