In this economy, as related to the drum industry, things are pretty tough. Equipment sales are down, companies are cutting back on endorsement deals and other pressing challenges.

The same holds true for the banking industry with a major exception. Most financial services firms are hurting and don't have a dime for a diddle.

An exception to this rule would be BNY Mellon. Established in 2007 from the merger of Mellon Financial Corporation and The Bank of New York Company, Inc., BNY Mellon is a truly unique asset management and securities services company. Why? The company recently honored legendary drummer, Roy Haynes with a "Living Legacy" Award for his contributions to the drumming arts.

If that isn't cool, I don't know what is.
