I purchased the Waldorf Edition, and all products were working. However, every now I am getting get an error when I open a project with PPG Wave 2.V in Logic Studio 8 that would read:
Copy protection check failed. Please re-install the Waldorf PPG Wave 2.V. I have encountered this problem in the past and was able to resolve it by installing the update provided on the Waldorf website at: http://www.waldorfmusic.de/de/downloads?re...orf_edition/Mac The problem is that I have moved from my country and did not bring the original Waldorf Edition disc with me and when I tried installing this update, it asked for the original disc. Roughly half of my projects over the past year have used the PPG Wave 2.V and I am at a total loss without this being able to work with it. Does anyone have a copy of the most recent update where I do not need the original CD? From previous experience with both Waldorf and Steinberg, both have been absolutely awful companies to deal with with no customer support. I will never buy a Waldorf or Steinberg product again, which is why I decided to not buy a Blofeld or use Reason or anything from Propellerheads as well. Furthermore, as much as I love the sound, I will never use the PPG Wave 2.V again in another project, but I have to use it to finish earlier projects. Please advise. Thank you. |

When I try installing the "PPG Wave 2.V V1.2.0 Installer", the installer just remains in a frozen state. Nothing ends up getting installed. I am using Mac OSX 10.5.
Roughly half of my projects over the past year have used the PPG Wave 2.V and I am at a total loss without this being able to work with it. Does anyone have a copy of the most recent update? From previous experience with both Waldorf and Steinberg, 640-802 both have been awful companies to deal with. Horrible customer support. I will never buy a Waldorf or Steinberg product again, which is why I decided to not buy a Blofeld or use Reason or anything from Propellerheads as well. Furthermore, 350-001 as much as I love the sound, I will never use the PPG Wave 2.V again in another project, but I have to use it to finish earlier projects. and the same issue and it was fixed with the latest update from the Waldorf site (The location and layout has changed recently so the old link may well not work). VCP-310 The thing to remember is to delete the old instances before installing the update as not doing so can corrupt the installation (Apparently). If your still having issues finding it, let me know. I still have the update on a backup somewhere. Please advise. Thank you. |
