hello,
I'm having some problems in conveting mono audio track in midi...
as shows the motu website in the news about dp 4.61 sad.gif

I can change the pith but they say I can copy the midi notes to a midi track by copy/paste from audio... I see the pitch curve and not the notes...

please, help blink.gif

You CAN extract the pitch info from a audio track but it took me a while to figure out how....I will try to explain how I did it.

1. Chose 'pitch' from audio track I wanted to convert.

2. I clicked on the little magnify glass on the right of track name until the midi data was above the wave form in track display.

3. With arrow I select JUST the midi data and from edit menu chose 'copy' .

4. In new midi track I 'paste' from edit menu and voila!

I guess one must seperate the data in the audio track and this the way I did it. I would be happy to learn any other method so please post any other suggestions for this issue.
