hi there, hmmmm.... lately i have been frustrated with logic, as everytime i try to play something though my midi controller, the program seems to crash, and i have like only 1 vst insturment open, and no audio tracks running, hmm... and i dont know what exactly it is.. hmmmmmm... i have a powermac 733mhz with 128mb of ram, runing OS9.2, midisport 2x2, and logic audio 5.3, hmmm. i have messed around with the memory allocation a little, but it dosent seem to realy do anything. so excuse me for my ignorance, lol, but any sort of advice would be appreciated
well like the title says would there be any other way to automate effects, aux channels, buses (i.e. like silververb and phase distortion, ect...) for each individual channel when using the esxp23 multitimbrally(oh ya and i am using regular logic audio 5.3). or would i just be better giving each insturment its own track for automation? any help would be appreciated, and please excuse my ignorance on this.
What about just plain logic audio 5.1.3 and OSX?
I was just wanting to know if there might be any dates floating around about when logic will get osX drivers, i know that it is in development but i dont know any dates i heard that it probably will be 4th quarter this year but has anyone heard otherwise and are there any specific dates. thanks for any help in advance. oh and would anyone have know if it would have an upgrade price or be free to exsisting logic users?
what are some good sites to learn how to Program audio applications like vst insturments or editors in OS9 (and even i guess OSx potentaly). I am somewhat interested in learning the code (would it probably be applescript?right? or ones like C++?) to be able to do some interesting things(though i probably wont be able to to that much) or if there are any good books out there for learning this (i have not looked at a book store recently so there probably are) . well any help would be appreciated though i understand if you dont give a damn about my random thoughts.
