Dear Mac Music Members, i'm new to this list.
I'm a B&W G3 user. Mac Os 9.xx Classic.
Old machine and older applications: Cubase, MidiEx, Megalomania etc...
I'd like to connect again (after 8 years) my sinths/racks to my machine.
No more reliable and easy to use serial ports, only USB.
Is it possible to connect again my instruments to my old applications through USB port?
IF yes what is the best solutions?
FreeMidi and/or OMS?
Or newer programs?

Best regards

OMS for you, you don't need freeMIDI and there's nothing else new for OS 9 anyway.

Very important : install OMS FIRST, then the rest including the eventual midi interface driver. OMS is very touchy.

OMS page on our software version tracker
