looking for a device for interpreters that takes incoming speech into memory... pitch controls it and has a variable speed output. This would solve a problem when the person speaking into a microphone speeds up (in conversation) making the interpreter stumble with translation due to increased words per minute.
Would be simple enough but need to know if it exists. Can anyone help me with info?
thanks.

JVC has this, but it's only available in Japan and it seems it only processess radio signal but maybe it could be modified to input other sources as well. At least the technology exists.
