Problem using Cubase with iMic

I recently bought an iMic for my powerbook, but I encounterd problems using it with Cubase. I use :

- Powerbook Titanium G4/400 256 Mo
- OS 9.1
- Cubase VST 32/5
- an iMic, connected via USB

When the iMic is connected, the 'VST Performance' window shows a red light, to signal that the processor usage is too high. But the gauge only shows 5 to 30 %.
And when I try to play a song, no matter how many tracks there is or if there are effects applied, the sound doesn't play right : the sound is cut every 1 or 2 seconds, as if someone was playing with the MUTE button !

Does anyone know what could be the problem ?

Comme le titre l'indique j'ai constate un probleme lors de l'utilisation de mon tout recent iMic avec Cubase.

Config :
- Powerbook Titanium G4/400 256Mo
- MacOS 9.1
- Cubase VST 32 Ver. 5
- interface son iMic USB

Mon TiBook ne possedant pas d'entree son (a part le micro integre) je suis oblige de passer par le iMic. Mais lorsque je l'utilise, il se passe un truc curieux : le son est joue par saccades, un peu comme si quelqu'un s'amusait avec le bouton de volume (un coup a fond, un coup a zero, un coup a fond...).
Il est a noter qu'une lampe rouge s'allume sur la fenetre 'VST Performance' en face de l'occupation processeur (qui n'est pourtant occupe que de 10 a 30 %... j'ai un G4/400, nom d'un chien !!).

Le probleme semble s'amoindrir si j'utilise l'iMic aussi bien en entree qu'en sortie : la lampe s'eteint alors de temps en temps, et j'ai des periodes de repits (15 secondes peut etre...) pendant lesquelles le son est joue correctement.

Quelqu'un a une idee ?
