Hi, I've got a demo version of MaxMSP 5, and some software called 'UDR' came with it...
I think I missed something, but is that meant to be used every time your demo period of 30days expires so you can keep using the demo version, or is it a bit more sophisticated than that??
Can anyone help?
Thanks.
I want to run an OS9 program on the iBook, and remembered that although I have the option of emulating it in "classic", I no longer have it on the System folder containing the emulator, just the icon (I remember getting rid of it thinking I wouldn't need it I think ). Now I went and got a macbook, which also runs OSX 4.11 like the iBook, but unlike the iBook there's no Classic icon in its system preferences. Any suggestions? Do I take the game to the new macbook and hope to find Classic there, or is there a way I could get the emulator back on the iBook and play the game (Monkey Island4) on it ...which is what I'd planned to do before realizing the Classic had been deleted (due to trying to make memory space because of an earlier problem of untraceable memory loss- now fixed). Thanks! Sorry for the long sentences there...
Hi, I just had to get a new wireless router for my cable modem and was wondering how to create a secure wireless network. Someone did it for me last time, but he's not in the country at the moment and I think I should work it out for myself by now anyway. If anyone could help with step-by step instructions, I'd be very grateful. At the moment I'm connected to the wireless fine, but everyone else could connect to it too and download stuff I don't have any say over. I've tried Network Setup but it says error when I try to get it to recognise a network I've just made, I so must be doing something wrong.
Thanks.
Hi, I've just bought a new MacBook, and been thoroughly enjoying using it for many things, but since last week the fan has been on practically non-stop. Of course it eventually stops when I put it to sleep, but within a minute or two of use it's back on again.
This is a problem if I want to use it to record audio, and as a music workstation. I'm thinking of taking it back while the warranty is still valid, but I'd rather not now that I have all the things I want installed on it.
My iBook's fan didn't come on nearly as much, and I used it the same amount. If anyone can help, I'd appreciate it.
hi forum,
I'm wondering if anyone can help?
I have an iBook with a small, but sufficient hard drive of 28GB (I use external hard drives when I'm recording in Cubase or working with big files).
The problem is, even though my applications and iTunes(under User) only take up 10GB, since everything else is on the external hard drives, my hard drive says I'm using 27GB in total. That's 17GB unaccounted for! It was ok when it was 3-4GB, but 17 seems a bit much. Do I need to reinstall, or is it something wrong with my systems folder?
Any help would be REALLY appreciated, I've had this problem for the past year now!
Thanks...
