Hey All!
I have been sending audio files from my Mac G5 to My cell phone to create rings via bluetooth. Does anyone know the name of an easy program to use to cut up audio files so i can make 20 second files out of 3 minute songs? I tried Peak but it was a little more complicated than I was looking for. I'm not on here much so if anyone has any good ideas, please e-mail me at JustinCase81c@yahoo.com Thanks SO much! Chris

Why not just use iTunes?
You didn't mention about file formats you are using, but I'll assume MP3 (but this would work for any format iTunes understands)

Add the track you want to trim to iTunes
Select 'Get Info' from the file menu
Select the 'Options' tab in the resulting dialog box
Here you can enter the desired start time and stop time, then hit the 'Return' key to enter the changes you've made
iTunes will now only play that section of the selected track
Select that track in the iTunes library, and under the 'advanced' menu, select "convert selection to MP3" (or whatever format you have specified in the preferences)
iTunes makes a new MP3 containing only the section of the track that you specified

I hope that is all easy to read.

That's a great idea I never thought of using that feature like that.
