Hello Folks,

I am using (trying to use) a M-Audio USB DUO to record some vocal and guitar tracks into Digital Performer. I can get the signal in and on to a track but I am encountering all sorts of problems when I want to play it back. It seems the track will only play if I change the hardware settings for the output to "built in speakers". Then, magically, when I change the output back to the DUO it plays back fine. Also, for some reason the sooftware will not accept for the output to be different from the input. For instance, I cannot input a signal from the Duo and have it come out from the built in speakers. Is this normal? Does anyone have an idea how I should start troubleshooting this?

Can anyone tell me if it is possible to have audio files from Digital Performer work in Cubase? If so, what would be the ideal way of exporting from DP and importing into Cubase?

Thanks
