I've been desperately trying to solve a bug I'm experiencing with my M-Audio Delta 2496 card working with Logic 4.8.1. When it works the sound is spectacular but more often than not, seemingly with no rhyme or reason the sound will become distorted. It seems to happen most often when I try to record an audio instrument either EXS or VST. I have tried both drivers from the M-Audio website and have installed OS 9.0.4 thru 9.2.2 but the problem keeps happening. I have played around with the various settings both within Logic and within the Delta soundcard, buffers, etc. still nothing

Has anyone experienced what I'm describing and has anyone found a solution? Please get back if you have any suggestions. I really don't want to get rid of the card if I can make this work somehow....

Thanks

Graeme
