I use Propellerheads Reason all the time, however I am just now starting to venture out into my own compositions. As far as Drum tuneing goes I just don't get it. I use the Redrum for my drum patterns, and load the provided samples... but how do I tune these samples to work better with each other. Should I tune the kick drum so it's on or around the same frequency as the bass, the claps and hi-hats so that there at the same frequency as my mids... Can someone please shed some light on this for me, or point me to a direction that might help.
Thanks, Brian
I still cannot get Propellerheads Reason to respond to my Radium 61 key midi keyboard. I have tried everything. I can play the instruments fine, but when I try mapping a knob on my keyboard to the volume on the malstrom for example it won't work. I know Reason is getting a signal. When I select learn from midi the bar is lighting up (indicating it nows midi is coming through). But it just will not control it. Has anyone else had this problem and know how to fix it?

I was wondering if anyone has tried useing the Korg Kaoss Pad with ableton live. I have Ableton Live and I love it (so much so that I am selling my technics and pioneer mixer- see wanted adds). I was curious wether the kaoss pad can control the x-y effects on Live's Plug-ing effects. I know it's a long shot that anyone would know this but if you have any info please let me know. Thanks.
Can somebody explain to me, or point me to a web sight that goes indepth into quantization. What it does and how can it benefit my work etc... Any help would be appreciated. If it matters I use Reason and Live... and plan on buying logic in the near future.
Thanks
I am trying to burn an mp3 cd of some music and an audio book that I bought from ITunes music store. However it is not allowing me to do that. I have DSP-Quattro audio editor, but it cannot read ITunes music files that are bought from the store. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
