Just got off the phone with the german distributor for Akai Pro. The MPC-style drumpad MPD16 will be supported via USB come October (already works via MIDI). The rep also told me that the ak.sys software would be ready for OSX in October. This info came directly from Akai Japan (I was bugging the distributor earlier, so they emailed HQ tongue.gif).

LOL. "I don't think so". Oktober for Ak.Sys is utter bullshit.

Trust me, I know exactly what I'm talking about wink.gif

Sorry, correction then. MPD16 drivers for October, but ak.sys is being worked on. I donīt really need ak.sys anyways so I didnīt pay special attention. Are you working on it or what makes you so certain? Iīm just glad that I got an answer to my question, a lot of developers *coughemagiccoughrme* are not that forthcoming about their OSX porting.

I can't really give any details. The drivers for October is "plausible". For Ak.sys it will be "a number of months".

But one thing is sure, all of that is being worked on actively as we speak, thats the important thing biggrin.gif
