Hi all, I'm using DP4.5 + Digi 002 Rack + G5 Dual 2Ghz.

I just want to know which is the best setup for DP.

I mean, DAE or MOTU audio system?

Motu audio system generate a little latency on midi devices when i used to play with my keyboard.
DAE is not workin cause i need a newer version.

Really appreciate any help smile.gif

No DAE with your hardware, DP only supports TDM DAE. Not the baby protools version.

Right DAE does not work with the Affordable PT version.

MIDI compositioning is DP's main elegance! Live tracking (raw DSP ) is PT's TDM strength... so, depending on the application, you would use DP as a front end for any serious MIDI work when you needed the DSP resources of PT TDM and a full out PT TDM system for tracking multiple instruments in a session to have a more intuitive workflow. But with the newer Apple hardware on the horizon... TDM may be a thing of the past.
But again, this is the inevitabilities of DAW's...
