I'm trying to record DAT and audio cassette tapes to HD via Analog Inputs of my Motu 828Mk II but I can't control the input level. The faders in MOTU CueMix console don't work. Motu AudioDesk software Audio monitor seems to be independent of any input level adjustments in CueMix console.
How to control input level in Mout 828Mk II?
Mac G5/1.8 MacOS 10.4.11. 2 gigabytes RAM.

hi,
cuemix console doesn't effect input levels. that's right. you've got two inputs on the front, mic/guitar in 1 and 2. they each have an analog input knob (trim). use those, and you'll be good to go.
