I have the G3 iBook, but can’t seem to find any free music/mp3 downloads site compatibled with OS 9 or OS X. I have visited sites like audiogalaxy.com but found that they only support PC platforms. Theoretically, I could download Linux to access such sites but I don’t want to install a third operating system on my computer. And it would take up too much space on the hard drive. Any body know any good sites, specifically those that have a wide selection of commercial (pop, rock, urban, hip hop etc.) music. As an aside I have experience working in PoTools, Deck, Logic and similar audio apps, but don’t have them on my iBook. Is there anything in those areas of experience that could assist me in my pursuit of mp3s.

try www.zeropaid.com

in my opinion, LimeWire is the best Gnutella client, and you should check out a program called Sputnix to access AudioGalaxy, which is wonderful.
you can find that at http://www.biggerplanet.com/unsupported/sputnix.html
