I LEGALLY bought SL 2 and installed it, yet it keeps giving me this "no copy protection device detected" message and closing. I DL'ed the latest LCC software, but there's still no protection device. Can someone help?

Specs:
SL 2 operating on Panther running on a 1.6 GHz G5 with a gig of DDR RAM.

Have you got the 'dongle'?
This is a key which goes in the USB socket and is checked by Cubase before it will work, basically to stop illegal copying.

yes, you need to have a dongle in order to use Cubase. Anyway, I hooked my laptop with USB while using Cubase SL. I just don't know why my laptop keep crashing on me when I start the program. Perhaps my Mobile Pre USB box can't handle the power through my laptop? any ideas?
