looking for a device for interpreters that takes incoming speech into memory... pitch controls it and has a variable speed output. This would solve a problem when the person speaking into a microphone speeds up (in conversation) making the interpreter stumble with translation due to increased words per minute.
Would be simple enough but need to know if it exists. Can anyone help me with info?
thanks.

have an old promix 1 in the closet, G5 dual 2.0, Logic 7 with no control surface... just wondering if its possible and seem to remember that the resolution of the faders is a bit clunky.. will use all internal sounds and want to try tactile mixing for a change.. just fader control..anyone have any suggestions..?
