Just researching. I am looking for a stand alone virtual sounds( sampler or sythn). need to do basic instruments( piano , strings, drums,bass, keys horns, etc) No need for analog type sounds or to build my own sounds. trying to keep it simple. It does need to accept midi controller info( program change, CC's). for live performance.
rigth now Kontakt from Native looks good. maybe Sampletank .
Anything else I should check out? I hear about Reason or Live
