im having a problem with my revision and reason set-up for working on this film sound track. i have sounds and samples perfectly timed for certain cuts in the film but the timing seems to change with each playback. so im finding it hard to not pull my hair out right now cause i have no idea how to time this anymore. and im running the most current version of reason and revision

ever since i installed reason 3 on os x tiger i noticed all my previously done songs in reason 2.5 were off time. the matrix sequencers seem to be trying to match the continuity of the file rather then just started from the very begining when they are turned on. so if i turn on patter A1, it starts in the middle of the pattern, or close to the end, etc. never from the begining like it used to. u have no idea how to solve this or what its doing. please help

i have a dual 1.8 g5 with 1.24 megs of ram. the two main programs i use are reason 3 and live 4. when i bought this system i never thought i would be having performance issues. my older g4 seems to have given me better performance back in the day. when rewire is on it can slow down so much when both programs start to add in more complex sounds to the point of not even being able to make the damn song anymore with how choppy it can get. forcing me to make changes and tweaks blindly, exporting, then listening to the audio file. i really want a different solution to this. i've heard that other mac os's run faster, but i really have no idea what to do. i'm willing to buy more memory but im finding this ridiculous

i was working on a soundtrack on my friend's Imac (using Reason+Logic Ex.) and when i got back to my place i loaded the files i made onto my Powermac. kcept for some reason LogicExpress isnt recognizing my Reason through Rewire. the files are the same, i even made a new one re-connecting the Reason Rewire audio objects but nothing seems to be working. doesnt make any sense cause it works fine on the Imac
(one thing that i'm not sure makes a difference is that he's running panther and i'm running tiger)
