Setings For Vst In Logic Platinum 6, no setings why? Options

Hi again.

I finaly got logic platinum 6 but I´m wondering why those VST´s which are not demo don´t have any setings.

There is only one global seting. Why? They are yust like
demo but for unlimited use.

My friend has a cracked logic 5 on PC and has all the VST´s with a lot of setings inclouded.
The second thing is: Do I realy have to buy all those VST´s which are demo for one mounth or Is it posibile to get them for free somewhere or setings for those which are not demo.

And finaly how do I put new VST instrument in Logic 6.
I put one in VST folder where all the VST instruments are but there was no new VST in Logic.

Can anybody help me?
