Hi,
I have logic express 7.2 running on a macbook. Every time i go to bounce a selection it crashes. I've got a firewire hard drive which all my audio goes thru. Could it be my HD giving up the ghost? I read that the chipset on the icybox is a bit naff, and I still get system overload/disk to slow msgs fairly often
Any imput will be greatly appreciated
Hi, I'm wanting to output individual tracks from logic, so i can run them thru an analogue mixer. To give me hands on control and to take strain of the computer and my eyes(less time staring at a monitor mor time tweakin knobs and listening.
My intial thought was to daisy chain two firewire interfaces together, such as an echo audiofire 12 and 8. (I am using an intel mac if that helps) this would give me 20 outs to send to a mixer. But if I need more outs would i be able to link a third device? Or would I need to look elsewhere? Also would i be able to run the stereo mix back into logics main out for mixdown?
I have logic express 7.2
I don't mind if the solution is expensive and long as its future proof and expandable
Thanks for reading my post, I will be grateful of any advice
Hey Everyone. I've joined the Logic club at last. WOW Main problem tho is When I load up garageband songs I don't get any sound. The meters move and I dont have problems with sound when starting a fresh project in logic. Any ideas? I have logic express 7.2 on a 1.83 core duo macbook cheers
Is it possible to get garage band to work as a master to a midi drum machine. enabling it to control the start stop function and keep the tempo synced. At the mo it isnt a massive issue, but in the the future i will be using the drum machines sequencer to control a midines. when keeping things in check wll be of great benifit
Any imput will be greatly appreciated
cheers
I have a roland drum machine and want to imput midi signals into my mac, for recording drum patterns into a software instrument. I have an Alesis io/2 and got two midi cables. I connected the out of the roland to the in of the alesis. This worked perfectly first time, but now for some reason it doesnt work. I looked on midi monitor and it just keeps saying 'active sense' every fraction of a second, pressing any key on the drum machine just results in an invalid message in midi monitor. Any suggestions?
Thanks
