440 Forums _ Software on MacOS X _ Tracktion 3 - Using Virtual Instruments

Posted by: rodman101 Thu 4 Dec 2008, 01:34

Hello all.. recently got a copy of Tracktion 3 and I am starting to enjoy its rather unique approach (used to be an avid ProTools user). ONe problem I have had though is simply getting a virtual instrument to play! I am attempting to use SampleMoog by IK Multimedia and I read in the manual that you need to create a Rack Filter and then drag it somewhere and create a Filter with SampleMoog.. basically, im lost on how to do this... blink.gif Its not quite as easy as they claim...

Can anyone give me a quick how-to on how to actually trigger sounds and record them within Tracktion 3??

Thanks kindly in advance!
